Maintaining Account Information

1. When member enrolls in the Hyatt Gold Passport program, member will be assigned an account number and asked to provide a password that will allow member to access account information and redeem Hyatt Gold Passport awards on goldpassport.com. If member enrolls at a hotel, by phone or by mail, member will receive notification providing a temporary password within 4 weeks of enrollment date. Upon accessing goldpassport.com with a temporary password, member will be required to change the preassigned password.

2. Member can change a preassigned password by updating their personal membership profile online or by contacting Hyatt Gold Passport Customer Service. If member chooses to change a password, the password should not be able to be guessed by others, and it should be easy for member to remember. Special characters such as @#$%^&*;:/ are not permitted. Hyatt is entitled to act on instructions received under member's account number and personal information. For security purposes, it is recommended that member memorize password number and not write it down. Member is responsible for keeping password, account number and other account information confidential. Hyatt is not responsible for any credits or debits made to member's account by anyone else using member's password.

3. A Hyatt Gold Passport member must provide their Hyatt Gold Passport account number and verify personal information prior to receiving any account information. Individual account information will not be given to anyone other than the member whose name appears on the account unless required in connection with a law enforcement investigation or by legal process.

4. Any errors or omissions on transactions posted to member's Hyatt Gold Passport account must be reported in writing to Hyatt Gold Passport Customer Service within 90 days of the applicable account summary in order for Hyatt Gold Passport to reconcile the account and make any required adjustments to member's account. Member must enclose a photocopy of the applicable complete hotel bill and payment receipt when reporting any error or omission in member's account.

5. If Hyatt Gold Passport improperly denies member a point accrual or benefit, Hyatt's liability will be limited to the equivalent of that point accrual or benefit.

6. Hyatt Gold Passport has the right to correct any Hyatt Gold Passport points posted in error.

7. Member is responsible for notifying Hyatt Gold Passport of any address or name change. Name changes must be supported by legal documentation, for example, marriage certificate, driver's license or legal court document.
