2. In order to redeem Hyatt Gold Passport points for free night awards or Future Meeting Credit awards at Hyatt, members must make award reservations in advance directly with Hyatt Gold Passport. A credit card guarantee is required at time of booking.
3. Hyatt Gold Passport free night awards apply to standard available rooms only as defined by each hotel and are not subject to blackout dates. Hyatt Gold Passport free night awards cannot be redeemed for packages.
4. Hyatt Gold Passport award reservations are subject to the reservation requirements of the individual hotel, such as length of stay, special packages and meal plans. Hyatt Gold Passport award reservations are subject to the cancellation policy of the individual property at which member is redeeming an award. If member does not follow proper hotel cancellation policy or if member does not check into the hotel, member will be billed for one night's room and applicable tax at the Hyatt Daily Rate.
5. Hyatt Gold Passport free night awards are valid for standard guest rooms unless specifically stated as part of a particular award. All Hyatt Gold Passport awards may only be used for single or double occupancy rooms. Any additional guests are subject to the applicable hotel's charges. Hyatt Gold Passport awards may be applied only to the guest room and do not apply toward food, beverage (except Passport Escape Awards which include limited meals), incidental expenses, service charges, resort fees, and hotel specific charges or taxes.
6. Hyatt Gold Passport awards indicating accommodations in a Hyatt Suite for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts are for one-bedroom accommodations. Hyatt Gold Passport Suite upgrade awards and free night Suite awards are not redeemable at all Hyatt locations. In order to redeem a Regency/Grand Club™ upgrade award or a Suite upgrade award at a Hyatt Resort property, member must pay a minimum of the deluxe prevailing rate (such as partial ocean view, ocean view, slope view, etc.). In order to redeem a Regency/Grand Club upgrade award or a Suite upgrade award at a non-resort property, member must pay a minimum of the Hyatt Daily Rate (not available at Hyatt Place or Hyatt Summerfield Suites). There are a limited number of guest rooms available for Regency Club, Grand Club and Suite Upgrade awards.
7. Passport Escape Awards are valid at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts only for standard room accommodations. Meals, which are included in Passport Escape Awards, shall be redeemable only in hotel restaurants operated by Hyatt and in the hotel in which the Hyatt Gold Passport member is registered. A special menu may apply to each meal. Breakfast includes choice of: juice or fruit, choice of breakfast entrée and breakfast meat and choice of non-alcoholic beverage. Dinner includes: choice of appetizer, choice of salad or soup, choice of dinner entree with potato and vegetable, choice of dessert and choice of nonalcoholic beverage. Applicable taxes are included. In some restaurants selected specialty items are subject to a surcharge. The 5-night award includes room accommodations for 5 nights, 5 breakfasts and 3 dinners for two people and a complimentary welcome amenity. The 7-night award includes room accommodations for 7 nights, 7 breakfasts and 5 dinners for two people and a complimentary welcome amenity (not available at Hyatt Place or Hyatt Summerfield Suites).
8. When member makes a Hyatt Gold Passport award reservation, the corresponding number of Hyatt Gold Passport points for that reservation will be automatically deducted from member's account within 3 days of booking. If member does not have a sufficient number of Hyatt Gold Passport points in their account, the reservation may be canceled or changed to the Hyatt Daily Rate. If member cancels a Hyatt Gold Passport award reservation, any corresponding Hyatt Gold Passport points that have been deducted from member's account will be returned to the account within 3 days of the cancellation.
9. A Hyatt Gold Passport award of 2 or more nights is good for one continuous stay comprised of consecutive nights. No credit will be issued for any portion of the Hyatt Gold Passport award that is not fully used.
10. Hyatt Gold Passport awards are not combinable on the same dates with other awards, upgrade certificates, partner awards, certificate discounts or benefits, incentive travel awards, vouchers, checks or any other special offers. However, member may choose to use multiple awards for back-to-back hotel stays.
11. Hyatt Gold Passport awards are not negotiable, commissionable or redeemable for cash and are void if sold for cash or other consideration.
12. When member checks in for a Hyatt Gold Passport award stay, member will be required to present photo identification and provide a credit card or cash deposit for incidentals.
