You must be a Hyatt Gold Passport™ member. Join Hyatt Gold Passport today. Current members must register to participate.

What are the qualifying dates of the promotion?
October 1, 2009 – January 31, 2010

How does The Next Big Thing promotion work?
First, join Hyatt Gold Passport today. If you are a current member, please register to participate. Then choose to earn either: one free night awards after every two eligible stays OR 3,000 Hyatt Gold Passport™ bonus points on every eligible stay, starting with the 2nd stay. If you choose bonus points, you will begin earning points after the 2nd stay is completed. If you choose free nights, you will earn your first free night award after the 2nd stay is completed. In addition to the offer you choose, all stays during the promotional period will count double towards tier status. Be sure to provide your Hyatt Gold Passport account number when making reservations and at check-in.
Stay means one or more consecutive nights at any participating hotel, whether or not the guest checks out and back in during a 24 hour period. Back-to-back stays at a single Hyatt are considered 1 stay.

How many free night awards or bonus points I can earn?
The number of free night awards you can earn is unlimited if you choose to earn free nights. The number of bonus points you can earn is unlimited if you choose to earn bonus points. Once you choose to earn either free nights or bonus points, you cannot switch your earning preference.

What are the redemption dates for the free night awards?
Free night award(s) can be redeemed October 15, 2009 – March 31, 2010.

Can I change my earning preference throughout the promotion?
No. Once you choose to earn free nights, you cannot switch to earn bonus points. If you choose to earn bonus points, you cannot switch to earn free nights. You much choose one or the other, not both.

Will my stay(s) count double towards tier status regardless if I choose to earn free nights or bonus points?
Yes. All eligible stays will count double during the promotional period regardless if you choose to earn free nights or bonus points.

Which calendar year will my double stays towards tier status be applied to?
Stays between October – December will count towards the 2009 calendar year. Stays in January will count towards the 2010 calendar year.

Will I receive Hyatt Gold Passport points for my stay in addition to the free night awards or bonus points?
Yes, you will still receive the standard 5 points per eligible dollar spent you normally earn as a Hyatt Gold Passport member.

Can I choose miles for my stay and still earn the free night awards or bonus points?
No. If you choose miles for your eligible stays, you will not be able to participate in The Next Big Thing promotion. Mileage stays will not qualify and you will not earn free nights or bonus points, or double credit towards tier status. In order to participate you must choose points for your eligible stay(s) in order to earn free nights or bonus points, plus double credit towards tier status.

Are there any restrictions on form of payment in order to participate in The Next Big Thing promotion?
No, all forms of payment are accepted.

When will I receive my 3,000 bonus points?
If you chose to earn bonus points, your bonus points will be posted to your account as you complete the stay qualifications. Please allow 10 days after check-out for bonus points to be posted to your Hyatt Gold Passport account. (Allow 2-3 weeks for awards to post from stays outside the U.S.)

Where can I see how many bonus points I have earned?
To see how many bonus points you have earned and to redeem these bonus points, visit goldpassport.com, access your account with your Hyatt Gold Passport number and password, click on My Account and select Account Details.

When will I receive my free night award information?
If you chose to earn free nights, your free night award(s) will be posted to your account as you complete the stay qualifications. Please allow 10 days after check-out for awards to be posted to your Hyatt Gold Passport account. (Allow 2-3 weeks for awards to post from stays outside the U.S.) No additional notification or award certificate(s) will be mailed.

Where can I see how many free night award(s) I have earned?
To see how many free night award(s) you have earned and to book these award(s), visit goldpassport.com, access your account with your Hyatt Gold Passport number and password, click on My Promotional Awards.

When can I redeem my free night award(s)?
Redeem your free night award(s) between October 15, 2009 and March 31, 2010 at any participating Hyatt hotel or resort worldwide. To book your free night award(s), simply visit My Promotional Awards.

If I pay for more than one room, will I receive free night awards or bonus points for all rooms?
No. Free night awards or bonus points will be given for one room per member per stay regardless of the number of rooms.
